The AstroMaster LT 76AZ Telescope from Celestron is a Newtonian Reflector style telescope with a straight forward and simple pan handle Alt-Az mount and tripod. This is a really practical combination, at an unbeatable price, to stroke the fires of a budding interest in astronomy. It's portable. It's easy to assemble. It produces bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. With this telescope, the observable belts and moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn become glowing embers for that neophyte fire of inquisitiveness.

With a 76mm aperture, the AstroMaster LT 76AZ comes with everything needed to get started to appreciate the wonders of the night sky. Two eye pieces of 10 and 20mm supply versatile magnification to move from a farther wider view to a closer more detailed study, and an attached StarPointer finderscope helps acquire a general direction to aim the telescope while trying to pin-down a specific target. The easy to use manual altazimuth mount dispenses intuitive tracking and alignment of the scope. This is a good entry level telescope for initial voyagers in the astronomical art of sky watching. It has everything needed to get started.
