The air rifle features a Nitro Piston powerplant which results in quieter, smoother, more-consistent operation, with less recoil versus a traditional spring-piston. In order to achieve a lower sound level without affecting the scope positioning, Crosman has included a shrouded barrel that features QuietFire noise reducing technology. Also, the all-weather synthetic stock has a cheekpiece for proper and repeatable eye placement, and a rubber buttpad for comfortable shooting.
